Based in Ontario Canada, Toronto FC II is a professional men's football team that plays in the United Soccer League. The team plays its home matches at the Ontario Soccer Centre, an intimate 3,500 seat stadium perfect for youth football. Toronto FC II play in the second tier of the North American league system and act as a reserve team and development club for the Toronto FC senior side. Toronto FC began life in 2007 as a league expansion team and became the first Canadian sports franchise in the MLS. The senior side are multiple winners of the Canadian Championship and were the 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference champions. In just a few years the club moved to expand further and created the second side in 2014 with the aim of running a side that would provide top class youth talent.
