The plot

This splendid night will end with a beautiful waltz dance, performed by the flowers and the coronation of the young girl and her handsome prince. Clara will wake up thinking this marvellous trip was only a dream, for she sees the Nutcracker, which once was a young prince, sitting under the Christmas tree.
