The Killers music
The Killers' debut album Hot Fuss (2004) topped charts worldwide and announced to the world the arrival of some serious players in the world of rock music. Hot Fuss featured some of the band's most iconic tracks like "Mr Brightside", "Somebody Told Me" and "Smile Like You Mean It". This early success was clearly no fluke, as the group's next two albums also went platinum and topped charts around the world. Sam's Town (2006) featured the mega-hits "When You Were Young" and "Bones". While 2008's Day & Age included "Human" and "Spaceman". In 2012, The Killers released Battle Born and 2017 saw the release of the Killer's fifth and most recent album Wonderful Wonderful which features cameos by Mark Knopfler and Brian Eno. "The Man" is the first single released from the Killer's 2017 album and other new tracks include "Run for Cover" and "Some Kind of Love". Wonderful Wonderful has been described as "...the band's most sonically forward-thinking record yet" and contains all the raucous, arena-pleasing anthems that shot the Killers to the big time in the first place.
The Killers enigmatic lead singer Brandon Flowers
It's difficult to think of The Killers without conjuring up images of charismatic lead singer Brandon Flowers. Flowers is one of the key figures in the new wave revival of the 2000s and has been praised by countless artists, including U2's own lead singer Bono who said "We need him on the rado ... his voice!". Brandon Flowers also has a successful career and has released 2 albums to date - Flamingo (2010) and The Desired Effect (2015).
