Known for their high-energy live shows and intense touring schedule, The Cat Empire were rarely off the Australian airwaves. Before releasing their debut album, The Cat Empire expanded to a six-piece group, adding Harry James Angus (trumpet), Will Hull-Brown (drums) and DJ Jamshid Khadiwala to the group. With The Cat Empire singles like "Hello" and "The Wine Song" gaining considerable airplay across the world, The Cat Empire established themselves as major players in the music world. The next The Cat Empire albums Two Shoes (2005) and So Many Nights (2007) continued this pattern of success and The Cat Empire have performed at some of the world's most spectacular events, such as the opening of the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and England's epic Glastonbury festival.
The other The Cat Empire albums include Cinema (2007), Steal the Light (2013) and the most recent The Cat Empire album Rising with the Sun.
