Founder of Dream Factory
Born in the South Korean city of Busan in 1965, Lee Seung Hwan began performing from a young age, and after signing with the Seorabeol Record Co. (Lee Moon-sae), he released his debut album, "B.C. 603," in 1989. Two years later he issued his sophomore record "Always" through his own label Dream Factory and subsequently won the first of three consecutive Main Prize gongs at the Golden Disc Awards. After adding to his back catalog with 1993’s "My Story," 1995’s "Human," and 1997’s "Cycle," Seung Hwan began to incorporate a rockier element to his familiar Korean pop sound. He went on to reach the top five in his homeland with "The War in Life," released in 1999, "Egg: Sunny Side Up" in 2001, and "Karma" in 2004. He also won several MAMA - Mnet Asian Music Awards and found his own annual charity concert, Chakage Salja, dedicated to raising money for leukemia patients. Seung Hwan continued to enjoy chart success with 2006’s "Hwantastic," "Dreamizer" in 2010, and "Fall to Fly" in 2014. Check out the selection of Lee Seung Hwan tickets currently available on StubHub.
