Foreigner is an English-American rock band formed in New York City in 1976. Ever since the band's inception, there has been one constant member - English rock star Mick Jones. The debut Foreigner album was released in 1977 and became an instant hit thanks to songs like "Cold as Ice", and "Feels Like the First Time", the album would eventually go Platinum five times over! Foreigner quickly proved that they could maintain their success and their sophomore album Double Vision (1978) stayed in the Top Ten in the US for over six months and, to date, is the band's best-selling record. After being cut down to a quartet, the eighties produced the band's most famous song - "I Want to know What Love is" from the fifth Foreigner album Agent Provocateur.
