Ash (band) making new music
The band formed in 1992 may have taken a short break from the music scene, but have been back at it since 2012. And what comes with new music? More concerts and live performances! Fans certainly haven’t been disappointed. ASH still keeps the crowd on their feet, jumping, dancing and singing, with high energy concerts which include their classic hits from the 90s and more recent songs.
In 2012, the group celebrated their 20th anniversary as a band with a concert in London which completely sold out! Fans raved and the show was critically acclaimed a hit. Given the facts, ASH continued on making new music and touring. In 2018 they release their seventh studio album called Islands. Will this be the legendary Northern Irish group’s last album? Only time will tell, but we sure hope not!
Ash albums
Their debut album 1977 has been named one of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time by the British New Musical Express (NME). Top hits from the album include "Girl from Mars" and "Goldfinger" in addition to other songs which were all a reflection for the group’s general interest in science fiction. They later released another album as a follow up to the sci-fi love called Intergalactic Sonic 7’sIt was there 2001 album Free All Angels where the group showed they were still in the game. Featuring hits including "Burn Baby Burn" and "Shining Light", old and new fans alike were raving about the album. The 2007 album Twilight of the Innocents was said to be their last, but to all their fans delight they released many more singles and albums from there.
